Some things are better said than done...

Hi,
I know that I really suck at keeping up with this, but I really need some help with this story, so I figured I but some of it up.

Here it is..it's a work in progress...don't be too harsh...thanks!

Part One: Things always change, change is inevitable…

It was days like these that Tim hated getting out of bed of, his bed was not only warm and cozy, but the one place he could dream about the past and the future and not feel foolish for holding a crush on a future that he may never occur. He would of stayed in bed until a later time, it was saturday after all, but he had to go make an appearance for his latest published comic. It's not that he hated doing readings and signings of his comics, this has been his lifetime dream after all, but on days like these, when he wanted nothing more to return to the past and be happy, he didn't really care about anything.

The past was the answer, in the now he was sad and lonely, but the past was a foreign country that no amount of money could get you a class ticket to, and he had the money. For a while he had considered giving some of his money to some mad scientist to see if then he would be able to get a time machine, but it didn't work, isn't not like they are listed on the web or on the phonebook. If only Doctor Who was real; surely he would be able to help. He once had read in one of Daisy's Zen book, which she bought back from her travels, that the we are to let go of the past and live in the present. He wanted nothing more to let go of the past, but unfortunately his brain and heart didn't always communicate that easily.

"TIM!!! TIM!!!!! ARE YOU READY?? YOUR GONNA BE LATE!!!", Joseph, his personal assistant scream at him from the outside of the house.

Tim rolled his eyes and got out of his bed and walked toward the window only to give Joseph a look and flip him off. He was thankful that he had picked out his clothes the night before, it's not like he had trouble picking out his clothes, but on days like these it help to have everything ready. His wardrobe was still rather simple, the clothes were expensive, but his style had still mainly remain the same. He still wore only trainers and jeans, he had an extensive collection of comic book t-shirts as well as oxford shirts. He wore more professional looking jackets, but styled them with buttons and pins. His hair, was mostly there, but he did all he could with it. He was and would always be young at heart.

On this occasion he had chosen to wear jeans, an white oxford with the Bear on the right side corner, and a plain black suit jacket in which he pinned a DC Comics pin, the company that now published his comics, and buttons of Wonder Woman and the other with the saying "Make Art Not War." He quickly ran his hand through his hair to make it seem less like he had just woken up. He grabbed his wallet and chain, cell, and keys and made his descend down the stairs. He quickly grabbed the mail and let Colin 2.0 out to the garden. Colin had died some time ago, and Mike gotten him another dog that look like him so that it wouldn't make him depressed. It was after all one of the last things he shared with Daisy.

Joseph gave him a look and went back to his seat on the driver seat, once inside Tim was given his customary cup of tea and paper, and they began to drive. Tim liked driving, but didn't usually drive himself unless he wanted time alone, which he rarely had. Joseph and him spent some time in the afternoons going over the inventory of the shops and talking about who was better Batman or Superman. When he wasn't with Joseph, he and Mike would construct more robots or play around, and go to pubs like the old times. And when he wasn't with Mike, he spent his time with his DC Comics Representative/Agent, Linda, who simply bugged him about doing more comics or doing more touring, she wasn't always the funniest, but he enjoyed making fun of her and trying to make her laugh, so far it had only happened once. His alone time was mostly when he drew or when he went home at the end of the day.

They arrived at the shop, The Vault, a shop he really didn't like, because he felt like they had copied his idea of The Bank, his second shop. When DC bought his contract from Dark Star, and his comic was sold internationally, he receive a lot of money, most which he was ashamed he still hadn't spent. When Bilbo had some trouble keeping up the payments for the Fantasy Bazaar, and decided to get out of the business, he bought the shop form him and continued to operate it. A year afterward, Tyres had taken him to a rave that was inside an old abandon bank, which was up for lease. While the rave as fun, and women were all over him, Tim realized that it would be a great place to open a comic book shop. He ultimately bought the building and named the shop The Bank, keeping much of the old furnishing and style of a bank. The vault of the bank was where all vintage comics were stores as well as other valuables, he never did agree with the front room display of vintage comics and valuables. Bilbo, who had come back from traveling and living in the States, helped him manage the shop.

The Vault, was already filled with awaiting fans and mothers who wanted nothing more but to ask Tim a question and/or get his signature on their comics. Every time he did this, he thought about how he really belonged on the other side of the line, and not in front of the table. He searched for Linda through the crowd and spotted her tapping her foot and looking annoyed, she always did that when he wasn't early. He finally exit the car placing his dark sunglasses and gray beanie, hoping not to be spotted too quickly by the crowd, To his surprise he all most made it to his place when he was surprised by a women attacking him for an autograph for her son, Timmy, who looked more frighten than big Tim. Although he was startled, he simply smiled at the child, and autographed the comic making sure to shake the child's hand and giving him a The Bear Pin that he carried in his jacket pockets. The kid smiled and the mother looked pleased, she quickly thanked him and ushered herself and her kid out of the crowd. Linda came and pulled him into the front of the shop.
